Art 331 Project 3

I am fighting back the tears. I have loved this class more than I could have ever imagined and am so sad that the end is in sight. I feel my love for this class stems from the way I have been forced to reach unimaginable potential and have been stretched farther than I ever thought possible.

My theme song was a segment from a Shawn Mendes Song….

Help Me, it’s like the walls are caving in

Sometimes I feel like giving up

But I just can’t

It isn’t in my blood.

Even though this combines my two passions art and information, which I absolutely love, there were rough patches as I created this Micro Site. There were so many moments where I thought there is no way I cannot do that. Look I did. I could not be more pleased with my efforts, even though they at times were excruciating the “I did ioments made them vanish.

We were assigned to create a Micro Site for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, I chose Ending Poverty. This topic touched my soul in ways I had never imagined.

Here were are requirements…

I am so pleased with the map and time line I created as well as the other graphics and charts.

Why

This shares with the audience why we need to end poverty. This was is humbling. Words can’t express how blessed I know feel to be me.

How

This page lets the audience know anyone can help. There are ways to serve or contact government officials so no matter your budget you can help, this tells you how!

About

This page tells you a little about the project. 1 in 5 children live in poverty. This is a global issue that can be ended, there are plenty of resources. No-one should suffer or lose their life. We need to be kind to everyone, and help wherever and whenever needed.

This was a difficult task. It seemed like that might not be the case, but as I let this project envelope me, I knew the road might me bumpy, but worth the trip. I knew there might be road blocks, but I was not letting anything stop me.

I created the map, charts, and graphics. I felt at times this was going to be impossible, and was consumed with fear and lacked confidence. All I can say know is I did do it.

I can do ALL Things. I just need determination.

I did it!

♥ Erin

P.S. I even had a shade of black background and made my own search icon!!
